My little x breed terrier dog is 16. About 2 months ago she had a stroke. Couldn’t walk, kept going around in circles, falling over, confused, refused food. I gave her one 60mg capsule of melatonin twice a days for 2 days, the difference was immediate. Started eating, walking ok, balance good and coherent again She slept a lot for a few days.
I then dropped the dose to one capsule for a few days, and now give her and my 12 year old German Shepard a quarter of a capsule each day. They are both bright and full of energy. Eat well and 2 walks a day.
